Leave

Open the Leave tab. Your requests are in two lists:

  • Upcoming: leave that ends today or later, soonest first.
  • Past: leave that has finished, latest first.

Each request shows the type of leave, its status and the dates. Tap it to open it. You see your Reason, your manager’s note if there is one, and Cancel request if you can still cancel it. Tap it again to close it.

The tab starts with the last 12 months and anything coming up. Tap Show earlier to go back another 12 months. The button is only there when there is more.

  1. Tap Request leave.
  2. Choose a Leave type.
  3. Choose Whole days or Set times.
    • Whole days: pick the First day and Last day.
    • Set times: pick the start and end dates and times, for a few hours off.
  4. Add a Reason (optional).
  5. Tap Send request.

Times are in your organisation’s time zone.

You cannot have two requests that cover the same time. Cancel the first, or choose different dates.

If the app says No leave types yet, your organisation has not set any up. Ask your manager.

If a day you pick is in a pay period your manager has closed, the app says This pay period is closed. Ask your manager. and you cannot send the request.

Status What it means
Waiting Waiting for your manager.
Approved Your leave is confirmed.
Declined Not approved. Manager’s note says why.
Cancelled You or your manager cancelled it.

The app does not send a notification. Open the Leave tab to check.

You can cancel a request that is Waiting or Approved.

  1. Tap Cancel request on the request.
  2. Add a Note (optional).
  3. Tap Cancel request again to confirm, or Keep it to go back.

A request with a day in a closed pay period cannot be cancelled. Opening it says This pay period is closed. Ask your manager.

With approved leave you do not need to clock in for the time it covers.

  • Leave for the first hours of your shift: clock in when your leave ends. You are not marked late.
  • Leave for the last hours of your shift: clock out when your leave starts. You are not marked as leaving early.
  • If you work during approved leave, the hours are labelled On leave and your manager has to approve them.
